I am an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Public and Preventive Health at Augusta University with joint appointments at the Department of Population Health Sciences and the Hull College of Business.
I am an applied microeconomist. My expertise is in applied microeconomics, that broadly covers the areas of global health, health economics, population health, public health, and public finance.
My current research focuses the social determinants of health outcomes and health disparities, and the economics of prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases in developing countries. My works got published in various peer-reviewed journals including:
